Very nice original 1 1/2hp Stover KE hit and miss engine. Excellent compression with valves and seats done. Hot Wico EK magneto, new gas tank, and original filler included. It has the correct muffler on it. The head was repainted at some point and needs some antiquing but luckily the rest of the engine remains untouched with lots of paint to be found under the grease! The gearing and bearings seem to be in great shape. I can deliver for free (or a cold beverage) to Baraboo, WI, Portland, IN, or Coolspring, PA, later this year. This is a VERY hard to find original Bosch FU4BR 4-cylinder base mount magneto. It is in great shape with no cracks, breaks, or repairs that I can see or know of. It was rebuilt a few years ago and not used since. It is clockwise rotation and the impulse works as it should. It turns over very nicely and seems to have very little wear in the bearings or the impulse. Everything seems to work as it should. It has good magnetism and puts out a nice blue spark on all four leadouts. Everything inside the points cover looks to be in great shape. It mounts on a 2 inch square bolt pattern and the mounting threads are in great shape. These magnetos were used on some of the early Hart Parr tractors as well as other applications. These original Bosch FU4BR magnetos are very tough to find in the wild or even at swap meets so if you’ve been looking for one for an authentic restoration here’s an extremely nice one that’s ready to go! Greetings vintage steam engine and hit & miss engine collectors! For your consideration is an OLD brass and glass oiler with a 6 sight / line manifold made by the Michigan Lubricator Company Detroit, Michigan. Late 1800′s – early 1900′s. This old lubricator is in very good condition. The glass on the large cylinder looks almost new with very few scratches. One of the six small sights has a crack in it. The main cylinder measures about 4 3/8” tall and about 3 3/4” in diameter. The small sight glasses measure about 5/8” in diameter and 7/8” tall. The top is stamped Michigan Lubricator Co Detroit and the part number 56A8. After doing about 2 hours of research, I cannot find another set up like this. There are a few oilers with similar design and size, but nothing with this 6 sight manifold. As such it’s hard to ascertain a true value on this item. Feel free to make me an offer! This is a pretty nice older restoration Ideal air cooled hit and miss gas engine. It is in good condition with no cracks, breaks, or repairs of any kind that I can see or know of other than a small chip on a flywheel hub and another on the pulley flange. Neither of these should affect its performance. It turns over nicely with good compression. The original mixer is with it but will need a new fuel line made which should be pretty straightforward. It will need a high tension buzz coil to run. It has the original muffler and air shroud which are usually missing. I haven’t run this engine but it ran a couple years ago. This should make a good show engine with minimal effort! I can deliver for free (or a cold beverage) to Coolspring PA, Baraboo, WI, or Portland, IN, later this year.
