This is an extremely hard to find original Webster magneto for an ignitor fired hit and miss or throttle governed gas engine. It is a model PY with 3 magnets. The magneto mounts on a 2 7/16 x 2 13/16 inch bolt pattern and was used on larger gas engines of the day. There is almost no noticeable wear in the bearings. I checked it just before I took the pictures and it puts out a nice, hot, blue spark that will surely run your engine if it is set up properly. There is very little wear on the trip finger. The threads in the mounting holes need attention in at least two of them. Two still have the studs in and may be usable but you may want to helicoil them as well. It has the original name band on it yet. It has a slight crack in one of the endplates that some space age adhesive should remedy pretty easily. It also has a chipped ear on that same endplate. It also needs a leadout cover. I’m pretty sure the endplates and leadout covers are the same as the Webster JY magnetos. It has new springs on it. These large PY magnetos are almost impossible to find in the wild or even at swap meets. I’ve only owned 3 of them in 20+ years. If you’ve been looking for one don’t miss your chance on this one. It will likely be a long time before another one turns up! It would also make a great spare on the shelf. Let the pictures be your guide. This is an extremely hard to find original KW lighting generator or dynamo for an early tractor, car, or truck. These were pricey aftermarket items to add headlights to your early prairie tractor or car or truck. It might also be able to be used as an ignition dynamo for an early hit and miss gas engine. It is a belt driven dynamo or you could adapt some sort of friction pulley onto the shaft to be flywheel driven. It is in excellent condition with no cracks, breaks, or repairs of any kind except for some slight delamination of one magnet which is common on KW magnets. This won’t affect anything and is cosmetic only. It is a model SA with 3 magnets. There is almost no noticeable wear in the bearings. It turns smoothly with excellent magnetic pull. I checked it just before I took the pictures and it puts out excellent voltage. It is on the original brass or bronze base and mounts on a 2 x 4 inch bolt pattern. The mounting brackets are slotted to keep the correct belt tension. It will need a drive pulley but this should be a pretty straightforward project or you may have a spare on the parts shelf. These generators hardly ever turn up in the wild or even at swap meets so if you’ve been looking for one don’t miss your chance on this one. It is an extremely nice one that needs nothing other than a pulley or friction wheel. It will likely be a long time before another one turns up! It would also make a great spare on the shelf. This is a VERY hard to find original brass oiler for a hit and miss gas or marine engine. This style was originally used on some larger engines where there were many points of lubrication. It could be used wherever it’s special configuration warrants. It is a 10-feed oiler and appears to be 100% complete. All of the glasses seem to be in good shape and everything seems to work as it should. It is about 10 inches long overall and is about 9 inches tall overall. The reservoir is about 3 1/2 x 4 inches. It needs some cleaning and possibly some new gaskets but that’s the fun part. After that it should be ready to go to work on an engine with no extra attention! It has all of the originla lower fittings to hook up the copper lines. It also has the original filler lid. It has a cast brass mounting bracket with the original nut on the back and has a great original patina and look to it and would look great on an original engine. These oilers are extremely tough to find in the wild or even at swap meets. It would even make a great spare on the shelf. The pictures tell the story. You won’t be disappointed in any way! This is an extremely nice original Caldwell Cub lawn mower. It was made in the 1930′s and is in excellent used condition with no cracks, breaks, or repairs of any kind. It appears to be complete including the starting rope. It is from the estate of an early air cooled engine collector where it was tucked away for decades. The engine turns over with good compression although I haven’t tried to start it. It has the original cast iron bear crank case filler plug on it which is almost always missing! It has lots of original paint and pinstriping on it as can be seen! It has the original gas tank and radiator on it as well as the brass serial tag and muffler. The only thing that appears non original on this unit is the paint on the front two caster wheels. It would be pretty easy to unrestore these to match the rest of the unit. This is a fantastic display piece for your early lawn mower or machinery collection Complete mowers like this hardly ever turn up in the wild or even at swap meets anymore so if you’ve been looking for one don’t miss this one. This is a very nice original and very hard find old horizontal toy steam engine. I’m not sure of the maker but if you know please educate me! It certainly is very old. It is fresh from an early engine and mechanical toy collectors estate where it lived for decades. It seems to be in good condition with no cracks, breaks, or repairs that I can see other than the nipple inlet for the steam or air line. It should be a very easy repair and really isn’t noticed. It turns over nicely and everything seems to move as it should. It has a good amount of original paint and plating on it as can be seen. The flywheel is about 4 inches in diameter and has a belt groove in it to run a dynamo or generator. The toy overall measures about 4 x 9 x 4 5/8 inches tall. It has a separate belt pulley on the crankshaft and has some cute little oil cups on the bearings! It is a very unique design that I’ve not seen before. It would be a great addition to your early mechanical toy collection or steam engine collection or display. It It is a gas engine cylinder oiler as it has the vent tube in it. Both glasses seem to be in good shape and everything seems to work as it should. It stands about 9 inches tall overall and is about 2 1/2 inches in diameter at it’s largest. It is ready to go to work on an engine with no extra attention! It has 3/8 inch pipe threads on it and they are in great shape. It has the original check ball and retainer in the base. This is a real nice original 6-feed mechanical oiler or lubricator for an early gas engine, tractor, or other piece of machinery. This particular one is belt drive with a round belt pulley on the end and was likely used on an an early prairie tractor or steam traction engine. It was made by Madison Kipp and is in excellent condition with no cracks, breaks, or repairs of any kind. It seems to have very little wear anywhere on it and turns nicely and pumps oil from all of the lines just as it should. The original level sight glass is good. The insides look to be in great condition but could possibly use a little cleaning as it had oil in it for many years. The outside of the case could also use a bit of cleaning but the old oil residue has certainly been a good preservative! It mounts with two holes about 14 inches apart on center. The case measures about 5 x 13 inches and is about 7 inches tall overall. Overall it is about 19 inches long. The drive pulley is about 5 1/2 inches in diameter. It has the original serial tag on the top that states that has an adjustable lift. These early “blind feed” oilers are extremely difficult to find in the wild or even at swap meets so if you’ve been looking for one don’t miss your chance on this one. This is an extremely nice original and rather hard to find Chandler piston type water pump that was commonly used on steam traction engine water tender wagons to transfer the water from the wagon to the boiler. It was made by Chandler Pump Company in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, and has the name in raised letters on the side of the body. It is in outstanding condition with no cracks, breaks, or repairs of any kind. The pump measures about 18 inches long, 18 inches tall on the board, and about 44 inches to the top of the handle. The handle moves as it should with seemingly little wear. It may need new leather cups on the piston but it might even pump water the way it is! Leather cups are available rather inexpensively if it does need them. It seems to be mounted on its original board as it too has some original paint on it. The original brass bleeder plugs are in it as can be seen. This one of the nicest transfer pumps that I’ve ever come across as most of them are pretty beat up from years of use. The pictures tell the story. I can deliver this for free to LeSueur, MN, Baraboo, WI, Portland, IN, or Coolspring, PA, engine shows or swap meets later this year. It’s tough to find pumps like this that are this nice so don’t miss it!
