This is a real nice original 4-feed mechanical oiler or lubricator for an early gas engine, tractor, or other piece of machinery. These had many applications in the early industrial world. It is ratchet drive from one end as can be seen. It was made by Detroit Lubricator Company has a cast iron body. It is in excellent condition with no cracks, breaks, or repairs of any kind except for the top glass. It is fresh from an old farm shop where it sat on the shelf for several decades! It is stuck but I’m sure it is just dried up and needs to be take apart and cleaned. These Detroits are much easier to work on than the Madison Kipps! It has the original filler plug and flat sight window and mounts on a 4 3/8 x 5 5/8 inch pattern. The case measures about 5 x 8 inches and is about 7 inches tall overall. Overall it is about 10 inches long. It has the original serial tag on the front. These Detroit oilers are extremely difficult to find in the wild or even at swap meets so if you’ve been looking for one don’t miss your chance on this one. It will likely be a long time before another one turns up and it probably won’t be this nice. With just a few winter hours in the woodstove-heated workshop I’d be willing to bet this would be a really nice, working oiler. I can be reached at 262 573 1931 if you’d like to talk about it. This is a very hard to find original Accurate Type R rotary low tension magneto for a hit and miss or throttle governed gas engine. These were used on the 1, 1 3/4, and 2 1/2 hp International Harvester Mogul engines from the factory. They were also options on many other IHC engines including the vertical Famous, 2 1/2hp horizontal, 1hp Famous/Titan, and several others including the earliest 6hp Type M’s. It is in excellent original condition with no cracks, breaks, or repairs that I can see or know of. It has almost no wear in the bearings and turns over with excellent magnetic pull. It puts out a hot, fat, blue spark and is ready to run your engine if it is set up properly. It mounts with two holes 2 inches apart on center and the threads are in perfect shape. It has the original name band on it and overall it has a great look to it! If you’ve been looking for one don’t miss your chance on this one. It will likely be a long time before another one turns up and it probably won’t be this nice! It would also make a great spare on the shelf. Let the pictures be your guide. This is an extremely hard to find original fuel pump for a Fairbanks Morse Y diesel engine. It has a part number of YF1456 and may fit more than one size or all of the sizes of the Y engines. It mounts with two holes 3 1/2 inches apart on center. Please measure your engine to be sure it fits your application. It measures about 6 3/8 inches tall without the plunger. The plunger moves as it should with seemingly little wear and it pumps as it should. Everything seems to be in great shape and I don’t think this pump would take much (if anything) to be usable! I can’t ever remember seeing another pump like this for sale so if you need one for your engine or just for a spare on the shelf here it is. I believe it is ready to be used on an engine. This is a VERY hard to find original John Deere 200 full line General Catalog. It is fresh from the estate of an old John Deere dealer and measures about 9 x 11 inches with hundreds of pages. It shows the full line of tractors and farm equipment including the Type E engine and W power units. It is in good used condition with some wear and soiling. It was damp at some point but the pages are all free with no noticeable damage and all of the information is in good, usable condition. It has the authentic old smell to it and is ready to be added to your John Deere library or display. It is a wealth of information for the John Deere collector! Here’s an item that certainly doesn’t turn up very often! It is a Challeng #6 burr mill or feed grinder. It was made by the Challenge Company in Batavia, Illinois. It is in good mechanical condition with no cracks, breaks, or repairs of any kind that I can see or know of and everything seems to work as it should. I ran a handful of corn through it and it seems to grind nicely. It turns over smoothly with no noticeable wear in the bearings. It has a nice pulley on it to run it with your engine. This a nice smaller sized mill and stands about 34 inches tall. It has a reproduction steel hopper on it that seems like it was pretty well done. Here’s a pretty nice older restoration 1/2hp vertical Maytag air cooled hit and miss gas engine. It was restored back in the 1970′s and ran and showed at that time. It turns over nicely with great compression and should run with very little effort. It is the earlier style with the mixer on the main bearing. It seem to have most of it’s original paint under the green on the gas tank and may look great “unrestored”. There is one chipped cooling fin and an very old, well done braze repair on the flywheel. It was run this way and had no issues. There are no other cracks, breaks, or repairs that I can see or know of. It is on a homemade presentation base with built in wiring, coil, and knife switch. It would be a fine addition to your engine collection or display. The pictures tell the story. This is an extremely nice original 2hp Jacobson hit and miss gas engine. It is in excellent condition with no cracks, breaks, or repairs of any kind. It turns over nicely with excellent compression and I’m sure it would start right up. I’ve owned it for several years and showed it a couple years ago. It has the scarce vertical governor and extremely scarce rotary magneto attachment. It is on a period jobber cart and looks and moves great on it. All it really needs is a new owner to have fun with it like I did. This is a pretty nice old 7hp Economy hit and miss gas engine. It’s in decent condition and should be a pretty straightforward restoration project. It has a rebuilt Webster magneto on it as can be seen. It turns over nicely with decent compression although it’s been sitting for many years. The flywheels run true. There are no cracks, breaks, or repairs anywhere execpt a weld on the rocker arm which could be dressed down or replaced if you so choose. There is also a freeze crack in the water jacket on the offside. It is not pushed out very much and should be an easy repair as well. It may even seal up with salt water or vinegar (if it even leaks at all). The head is not broken or repaired like so many of them. It has a homemade muffler on it. It will need a gas tank and a choke plate but the original check valve is in the hopper. It needs some general bearing tightening but there are many shims to remove. All in all this is a pretty decent engine and should be an easy project.
