Up for sale or offers here is a vintage Monitor model VJ engine with pump jack and Red Jacket hand pump. As far as I can tell, you have everything you need here to make a working well pump model powered by the Monitor VJ engine. Engine appears complete, but it has been sitting for years. This is one of the projects dad just never got to and now he is working on model engines and moving the big cast iron ones out. This would make a great display to set up on a wash tub and have a working well pump at a show. I don’t know how much the engine needs to get it going, but I don’t think it would be anything major, probably a good fuel system cleaning and some fresh oil and a hot buzz coil. I don’t see and CBWs that need attention. Like I said, been sitting out of the elements in the she for the last 25 years, not sure when it last ran. I have a hoist and can assist with loading.
