Ignitor is not worn. Mag mount is 2″ X 2″ on centers. No breaks or repairs. Should be ready to use. Most of my item are old and I will try to do my best to give an accurate description.

1 3/4 engine block from a hit and miss engine. The tag does not have the name but I’m almost positive it is a Hercules. Expect for 4 scores at the bottom (see picture) the cylinder looks clean and free from cracks. I got Lancaster, Pa about once a month and can take it there for free if you meet me the next time I go there at a mutual location such as the Tractor Supply store on route 896. For your consideration is a throttle governed carburetor for Hercules or Economy 3-1/2hp throttle governed engine. The throttle butterfly turns, it’s a little stiff but should free up better in a little time. The 2x 3/8″ mounting bolt holes are 2-5/16″ on center. It’s in original patina. All 3 fuel needles turn, the compensater in the intake is spring loaded. This is a NOS, new old stock Webster magneto/ignitor trip assembly for a 2 1/2-14hp Hercules or Economy hit and miss or throttle governed gas engine. It may fit other models or sizes so please do your homework to be sure it fits your application. It is in excellent, unused condition with no cracks, breaks, or repairs of any kind and has absolutely no wear anywhere on it. It fits on a 3/4 square push rod. Please measure your engine to be sure it works for your application. This assembly is ready to be used on an engine or put in your inventory as a spare. These NOS original parts are quite tough to find in the wild or even at swap meets! If you’ve been looking for one to complete a restoration or to replace your broken or repaired one here’s your chance. The pictures tell the story. It would surely beat making one!
