Magneto Bracket w/ Angled Tooth Mag Gear for. 1-1/2 HP Fairbanks Morse Z. Good condition and ready to use. 1 1/2 HP Fairbanks Morse “Z”. ZAA2561A2 – cast iron painted green. 3 7/8 center to center mounting holes – t akes Fairbanks R mag. ZAA2995A – a ngled teeth and 3 1/2 diameter. Mag gear has angled teeth and fits on R mag. Here is a very nice magneto for a John Deere E hit and miss gas engine. It makes an excellent spark. It has perfectly tight bearings. It looks like the body and end plate has been replaced by a very nice aluminum reproduction Please take a look at the pictures and decide if you need it. SPECIAL NOTE: This is a low tension magneto, it is meant to work with an igniter and will not produce at spark that will jump an air gap. It will not work with a spark plug. The spark it produces can be observed by rubbing a wire from the terminal against the case of the mag while turning the shaft. It does have to be timed to the engine. New Body and Bearing Plate! 3/8 shaft for gear mounting. The mounting holes have excellent threads. For questions 419 789 1159. I think I list items very accurately but my opinion on condition may differ from yours. In my opinion this is a nice magneto. If you have any questions about how to use it on your engine please ask. Here is a nice magneto for a John Deere E hit and miss gas engine. It makes an excellent spark. It has perfectly tight bearings. The little corners of the case are chipped just a little bit, that is very common with this mags and will not hurt a thing. Both of the mounting holes have been repaired with thread inserts. There is an extremely tight little crack by the one mounting hole that will not hurt a thing. Please take a look at the pictures and decide if you need it.
