This is a really nice, never restored, Hercules engine. Someone did put a little paint on this engine, but to me, it appears that it was not complete restored. If you look at this engine it really looks good, but of course it has some oil and grease, as expected. This engine has a Wico magneto. This magneto has brass casing and someone painted it black. If you want to clean off the black paint, then the brass of the magneto will shine like new. I did have this engine running in the spring of 2016, and it ran well. There is no visible welding or repair on this engine. I really like these little engines and they are a true “hit and miss” engine and the sound is un-mistakeable as for a hit and miss engine. This engine is sitting on a small universal cart, which I want to keep. Most people want to sit the engine on a trailer anyway so it is not needed most time. I think anyone who buys this engine will be a proud owner and want to show it off and to listen to it run.
