Up for consideration is this very nice John Deere Hit and miss 3 horsepower stationary engine. The serial number is 248953. This engine was manufactured in 1925. This engine has new rings, gas tank, oil pan, fuel line, valve job, gaskets, and solid oak skids. The head has been repaired, but hardly noticeable. It rides on my home manufacture cart. Original drain plug has been cut off and re drilled and tapped for smaller plug. No leaks, Magneto magnet break has been repaired. Magneto housing shows a repair on top near serial number.
