It is used with all of it’s teeth and has a 1 3/8 bore for the arbor. These original saw blades are quite tough to find especially in this condition so don’t miss your chance if you need one for any reason.

Wade drag saw made in Portland Oregon about 1920′s. THERE IS NO BLADE. This is a two stroke engine similar to the inboard boat engines of the day. Please examine all the pictures closely on a full screen. Note the water jacket repairs, someone let it freeze up. The saw guide has been brazed. The engine turns freely, has the original Lunkenheimer carburetor and wood. The wood will all need to be re-made, but is still intact so you can copy it. The locking wheel rim will need to be re-made as well. The spark ignition has broken/missing parts and needs repairing or replacing. I cannot see the bottom side of the tanks to see if they are rusted through, but would assume they may be. The log spikes are missing for the handles. The mixing valve needle is missing. There may be more missing, or broken, I do not know. Neither Dad nor I ever got around to this one, Dad has long gone to his eternal home, and time for me for this is running out as well. Time for me to move on in life now. Could you take this on now as a project? It been sitting here in the shed probably 50 years now and needs a new home. This listing is for a very early band saw sharpening machine. The name plate says NO. Approximate size is 34 inches tall, 40 inches wide, length is 35 inches plus 16 inch small. Shaft for a total length of 51 inches. This band saw blade sharpener will sharpen bands up to eight (8) inches wide. This very early machine is flat belt drive (no motor). Estimate grinding wheel up to ten (10) inch. This company is still in business and I have tried to contact them regarding date. Of manufacture and machine weight, but no response. I have no way to weigh this machine but would guess it to be in the area of 500 pounds. I would guess that this machine is over 60 years old. I have had it in storage for 30+ years. This machine could be of interest to woodworking, sawmill, old tooling and wood, make. An interesting accessory for displaying an old hit miss engine. This machine appears to be complete, I see no evidence of breakage but since I have. Inspection but must sell AS-IS. Presently the machine is on but not attached to a standard pallet but overhangs which is. Not acceptable to most shippers. No charge for present pallet.
