Circa 1900 J F Child’s Steam Engine Toy Hit Miss in “as found” condition. Marked MADE IN GERMANY on the bottom. It has a tin base that looks like brick and some original paint that is visible. The upper portion has a bump on the outside edge. Looks like it is missing the smokestack. The flywheel, piston and the valve assembly moves freely. There is a small lever in the front of the piston that moves freely as well. The base measures 3 3/4″ x 5 9/16″. The boiler body measures 6 1/4 in length. The flywheel measures 2 1/4 in diameter.
