Up for sale is a very nice Maytag Model 72 Antique hit miss Gas Engine. The flywheel has serial # 889117 stamped on it which was in production 1939. I have been restoring these engines for over 12 years now and I sell a lot of them. I also restore Maytag ringer washers and put Maytag motor’s on them as well. This engine and every engine I do is completely taken apart and sand blasted, bead blasted clean and painted with DuPont paint. I take a lot of pride in these motors. I don’t like the way they do things but I have no control of that. I have never seen anyone that say they have restored a Maytag engine that does not show the work that I do. But I put my own trade mark on my engines then I know it is on that I restored proper. It has new rings, condenser, spark plug wires with new ends, new spark plugs. I also honed out the Cylinder jugs. This engine has been restored and freshly painted and the tank and top plate was sealed so it will not rust again. I do not paint the flywheels like some people. I polish all my flywheels by had with no power. After putting it all back together I ran 2 tanks of fuel through it and it runs just fine. Detailing with the correct decals finished it. All it needs now is fuel and you can start it with your hand, it is that easy to start. It takes around five days to pack the motor so foam spray can set up. P>PLEASE READ BELOW THE PICTURES. I do not leave a feedback until I see a feedback on myself tired of not getting them for myself You.
