This model (not true scale) of a economy gas engine with it’s cast bronze flywheels and a full operating clutch pulley belted to a pump jack old time well pump that does pump into the stock tank. The pump is cast iron with brass workings under the base. We use baby oil in the pump so the iron parts don’t rust. This was a big draw to our display people were always asking to see it run. The engine ran on gasoline until the last couple years Roger had trouble getting it started as his hands started to fail so he hooked up a propane hose to it but he complained about the power loss. This was at the last show we were at since then the engine has been covered and just sat in the machine shop that was 9 years ago. I was able to get it started myself I only let it run for a few min so I know it runs ok. There is a model T Ford ignition coil in the base requires a 6Volt battery, there are roller bearings on the crankshaft mains I have not been able to find the propane demand regulator Roger built for it and he is not able to make any more. There are some dismantled and never cleaned, some of which are rare. They will be marked as running or not with pictures. I will be starting with some of the unmachined casting sets new in boxes. Some of the boxes will be opened by me to insure there is no rust as some of the boxes are stored in the machine shop with no heat for the last year. Thank You for looking.
