This is a model that is based on a 2-1/2 horsepower Vertical gear less, engine built in the 1890′s. It incorporates a pendulum type governor, igniter ignition, and a fuel pump all without the use of gears. This is accomplished with a notched cam with a ratchet wheel, advanced simply by eccentric movement. All of these functions are miniaturized for you, in detail in a fully operational model engine. Runs on common Gasoline. Model engine specifications, are 1-3/4″ bore, 2-1/4′ stroke, 12-1/16″ diameter flywheels. Engine height finished 22-1/2, weight 80 pounds as shown in the photo of the finished engine. This is a 4/10 scale of a full size engine. The hobbyist or person with mechanical skills can assemble this model. It requires painting, polishing, assembly, and a wood base. No machining is necessary. Kit includes, assembly and operational DVD, complete set of machined parts, all nuts, bolts, studs, cotter keys, and piping, name plate, complete fuel system, all ignition, and igniter parts, lubricators, with oilier and a grease cup.
