Here is a Webster JY magneto. The mag appears to be and great shape and rebuilt. This mag is often used on IHC and other larger engines. Model JY, Serial No. It appears to have had new bushings installed, no wear can be felt. The mounting pattern is about 2-13/16″ x 2-15/32″. This is a low tension magneto meant to work with an igniter. It will not produce a spark that will jump an air gap no matter who tells you it will or how close you hold the wire to ground.. It makes a spark that can be seen when the igniter points open. Most items will go out faster though. I have many good parts and pieces I will be listing in the next few months.
