From my research this bracket fits the 1 1/2HP Appleton gas engines. Has been repaired as you can see in pictures. See pictures for the measurements. Has traces of original looking green paint! Seems to trip just fine, it does have some wear! Should work how it is with some oiling/cleaning. It’s 100 years old so don’t expect it to function like it did 100 years ago!
