For your consideration is an original International Harvester, IHC, McCormick Deering model M Igniter. The shaft moves as it should. The 1/2″ bolts are 2-1/2″ on center. The cylinder area that goes in the engine is about 1-5/8″ diameter 1-3/8″ long. It’s painted with a red or brown primer. The spring may need wound tighter in the middle for it to function correctly.
