Here is an original magneto for an Associated Pony Engine. It appears to be in great shape but it is stuck. I have not tried to take it apart and free it up. The man I bought it from said it was a great hot mag a few years ago. It is basically a JD mag that Associated turned into a high tension mag for the Pony engines. Please take a look at the pictures and decide if you need it. If you want to talk about it 419 789 1159. 2 mounting pattern, the threads seem to be perfect. The case has a couple very slight hairline cracks at the corner edge (see pics), that is a common things with these mags and will not hurt a thing. The gear is cast iron and is about 4-11/32 in diameter. I think I list items very accurately but my opinion on condition may differ from yours. I have not had most of these mags apart and may not know what the inside looks like. If you want advice on how to use it please give me a call and I’ll be glad to help.
