This is a nice original Hays 3/8 brass gas-regulating diamond valve. It is fresh from a collection where it lived in retirement for decades. It is in good, used condition with no cracks, breaks, or repairs and moves as it should. It is missing the lever but the square stud moves very nicely even without it. The 3/8 threads are in great shape as can be seen. It has nice original patina and should be ready to go to work for you. It would also make a great spare on the shelf for a future project.
