HOT IHC Type L Low Tension Magneto (not for use with a spark plug). Typically, the L Mag is used on the 1 1/2HP or 3HP IHC M Hit Miss engine but can be used on other engines. Bench tested – HOT with test light. I recharged the magnets. Pot metal body with original band. Base has 2 mounting holes that measure 2 apart-on-center – threads look good. Has the plate that goes behind the gear. Gear has 2 11/16 diameter. Gear has a 5/16″ diameter hole to mount on a 3/8″ diameter shaft. Gear has 30 teeth that are 1/2″ wide and 3/16″ apart. Gear has Part No. 9679T for 1 1/2HP IHC M Hit Miss engine. Please feel free to call me with questions.
