This is a nice original cast iron governor bracket with cam gear for a Fairbanks Morse Z engine. It should be for the 1 1/2 and 2hp engines that used the Bosch AB magneto but it may fit others like the dishpan model as well. It mounts with 2 holes 3 1/2 inches apart on center. It is in great shape with no cracks, breaks, or repairs of any kind. Everything turns and interacts as is should with minimal noticeable wear. With a couple additions like the spindle it should be ready to be used on an engine. It would also make a great spare on the shelf. Let the pictures be your guide. These cast iron governors are not real plentiful and they’re so much more reliable than the pot metal ones so don’t miss it if you need it.
