Friction drive Wizard Hercules Electric Co. I hooked this unit up to a 12V battery and it spins/works nicely! Governor weights move in and by hand but never did “fly” out when hooked to a battery. It didn’t spin fast enough. One of the Governor weight spring holders is broken off. Will for sure need a new leather pulley. Please note that this is a friction type generator. It will not start an engine, however it is meant to take place of batteries after engine is running. A coil and proper setup will be needed before using it on an engine! (Not intended to produce a spark that will jump a air gap). Heavy duty brass base. I don’t see any cracks or breaks. Seems to have the typical amount of wear considering its age. Please see all pictures for the absolute best description. I think this item overall is in good condition considering its age but my opinion may differ from yours on this item! Will be very securely packed!
