Offered for sale is a 1929 John Deere 3 hp cutaway engine on a cart. The engine has been restored but has been cutaway to allow viewers the opportunity to see the internal workings of a hit and miss engine. The engine does not run of course. High quality restoration with automotive quality paint done in a paint booth. The beams are solid oak and are embossed and finished with marine grade varnish. Really a nice engine to take to shows and use to demonstrate how these early engines worked.
