This is my last Maytag gas engine from my 30 year collection. It is a 1933 Model 92 Hit & Miss gas engine S/N 505187 This engine is in nice condition with a small piece missing from one head cooling fin as shown in photos. This small piece has not effected running the engine. This engine was manufactured by Maytag in August 1933 before Maytag discontinued the model 92 engine in July 1937. I have owned this engine for more than 20 years. It has always been kept in our garage and has been run from time to time to keep it in clean operating condition. The engine has good compression for an 83 year old engine and was started and run for one hour on October 18, 2016. The first six photos show the engine not running on a white rug. The last six photos show the engine running on October 18th. The item “Running 1933 Maytag Model 92 Hit Miss Gas Engine S/N 505187″ is in sale since Sunday, November 06, 2016.
