Here is a very nice and rare Webster R2 flat bar friction magneto. It is a very nice unit with original paint. I think the was originally meant to be driven off an old gas engine and meant to be used to make power for the ignition system. An engine cannot start off a generator like this but it can take the place of batteries once the engine is running. Please take a look at the pictures and see if you need it. Made in Tiffin Ohio. Would look excellent on your engine or in you man cave! About 10″ long, 4-5/8″ wide, 6 tall. The bearings have a small amount of wear. I hooked up to a 12 volt battery and it spun right away just like it should. This is a heavy item, it weighs 14 lbs before any box and packing material.
