Here is a Sumter No. 12 magneto for a FM Headless Z engine. It produces a very nice spark and has some wear. It will need a new base but those are available as reproductions and are easy to change out. It seems to knock just a little bit when it is turned over, I’ve not had it apart so I don’t know the reason. Please take a look at the pictures and decide if you need it. If you would like to talk about it 419 789 1159. SPECIAL NOTE: This is a low tension magneto, it is meant to work with an igniter and will not produce at spark that will jump an air gap. It will not work with a spark plug. The spark it produces can be observed by rubbing a wire from the terminal against the case of the mag while turning the shaft. It does have to be timed to the engine. Brass case but pot metal bottom that will need changed out. 3/8 shaft for gear mounting. Should be a 3-3/4 mounting pattern. Slight amount of knocking can be heard when its turned over. I think I list items very accurately but my opinion on condition may differ from yours. In my opinion this is a great magneto.
