This engine has evolved in some respects due to Rogers health issues thru the years, he originally built it with a ignitor and a gasoline tank for fuel. 1st he removed the ignitor and installed a sparkplug and made a hall effect ignition system then it would start and run sweet early in the Kool mornings otherwise it was too hard to start. A couple years later the fuel mixer started to become a problem and after a small fire in the mixing valve Roger used a propane demand regulator and switched the fuel to propane much easier to start no matter how cold it was in the mornings. This engine was last run at a show about 9 years ago since then the engine has been sitting on a shelf in the machine shop. I had help to get the engine down I hooked up the 6 V battery and it started up with just a flip of the flywheels. The engine needs cleaning but it runs sweet just like I remember it. The engine will have to be picked up here I can not crate it or even lift it. There are some dismantled and never cleaned, some of which are rare. They will be marked as running or not with pictures. I will be starting with some of the unmachined casting sets new in boxes. Some of the boxes will be opened by me to insure there is no rust as some of the boxes are stored in the machine shop with no heat for the last year. Thank You for looking.
