Here is an original HEAD for a 3hp John Lauson hit and miss engine. It has some cracking at the top front of it. The good thing is that no repair has ever been attempted so you can fix it the right way! A lot of these heads are beyond repair because of very poor previous repairs. The engine this came off of was a 3hp, Type F, Size AB, with a 4.5 bore. It might also fit other sizes of engines. Check out the pictures and see if you need it. For questions 419 789 1159. Has some cracking but should be easy to repair. It is about 7-3/8 in diameter. The raised center area is about 4-1/2 in diameter. The mounting holes are about 4-1/16″ x 4-1/16″ on center.
