I believe this setup is for a Waterloo boy model H engine, however I do not personally have a H with a mag setup to 100% guarantee that so please research and see all photos. What you see is what I have. The magneto armature is not stuck. I believe the magnets that are currently on the magneto are incorrect. I do not see any breaks or repairs on the bracket itself. The 2 mounting holes on the bracket measure 2 1/8 on centers. See pictures for the absolute best description.

I believe this head is for a 1 3/4HP Associated Or United engine, please research and measure up your engine before purchasing! The 4 mounting holes that hold the head onto the block measure 4 7/8″ x 4 7/8″ across from each other on center. The exhaust threads are 1. The pushrod holder bolt spacing is 1 3/4 apart on center. The carburetor mounting hole spacing is 2 1/8 apart on centers. Missing valves and springs. The seats have some minor pitting but I’m sure they would clean up with some minor grinding or lapping. Antique Associated United ABS Igniter Hit Miss Engine

I believe this igniter will fit a variety of United and Associated built engines. Center to center bolt patter spacing is 2. Appears to have new mica. Seems to trip like it should. I personally have not tested this igniter on a engine but don’t see any reason why it wouldn’t work. Please see pictures for the absolute best description.

Antique Low Tension SUMTER B Magneto Hit Miss Engine Brass
antique
Comments Off
For sale is a hard to find Sumter B magneto. This magneto turns over nicely and does produce a hot appearing spark just by giving the gear a spin by hand and scratching a test wire against my bench. The kicker/bad part of the whole mag is that one of the outer horse shoe magnets is broken! The piece is missing as well. Housing appears to be all brass. 2″ x 2″ mounting holes on center. Use your own judgement. Please see all of my pictures for the absolute best description, I think you will be happy with my pictures.
