Here is a very nice example of an Associated gas engine working model with igniter fire. The machine work and attention to detail is great. This model has been ran many times in its life and recently was stripped down and repainted. It has great compression. I have not put any gas or run it since its been repainted in case someone wanted it sitting on the coffee table in the house. Everything was lightly oiled during reassembly. This model is in perfect shape and ready to take to the shows just ad gas and battery. The flywheels measure 6″ and the piston is 1″ I have seen several small Assiciate models using a set of automotive points and a spark plug but this model is accurate down to the igniter.
