This sign looks GREAT! It is super scarce and I have never seen another one is 30 years in the biz. It has nice vibrant color and graphics–you gotta love the BIG LIGHT BULB in the center of the sign. It measures 20″ long by 13 1/2″ tall. The sign belonged to I. ROSENBERGER SILVER DALE PENN. The sign is in excellent condition with very minor wear and a few tiny holes from hanging. Fairbanks morse gas engine. Model Z 2 hp throttle gov engine. Engine is complete with crankguard and magneto. Has original tin skids in good shape. Gov bracket is broke where the pushrod goes in possibly could be fixed. Throttle rod is missing. Engine is not very rusty it should restore easily. It has very good compression and no visable cracks on engine , base or the flywheels. They also look to be straight the pulley does have a crack in it but I think it is still very usable and I believe it is steel so easily repairable. Engine also comes with hand crank I think with the mag worked and some gas it would run just don’t have time to mess with it the only thing I see wrong with it is the throttle rod is broke but it is just a little metal rod and could be replaced or repaired easy every thing on engine is free and engine is ready to restore or leave in her work closes and enjoy. I have had this motor for 40 years if its not one now it wont happen its missing the carb and mag the crank is free and will clean up – the head it good valves move in and out to cracks – there appears to be a repair on the cylinder but it good the bore is good as re the piston and rings. I have had it running a bit by squirting fuel in the gas line. The flywheels turn with no wobble. As can be seen in the photos, their is a chip out out of the back of the cylinder, and a crack that runs along the lower side of the cylinder with an old repair.
