He went through this motor in 2010. He documented what he did to it along the way. He put in new cylinder rings, along with a few other vintage parts. He has the Fuller & Johnson book that will come along with this sale for free. All the info and other information he obtained for this pump will come with the sale as well. He had it running last in 2016. It has been sitting since the family said. Due to his health issues he was not able to mess with it after that. You decide if it is complete. It was kept in a dry storage area with heat and air conditioning. Also due to at the time of this listing we did not here it run. Again you decide if that is correct. All sales are final. Fuller Johnson 7 HP Model K Kerosene Gas Engine. Barn fresh (I sprayed some oil on the parts to keep them free, and pulled the head off to look in the cylinder). Rare big engine found in the desert – very little rust. Slow running engine, 400 Max RPM. Engine is stuck, but looks to be barely stuck, the cylinder looks very nice, and everything else is free. Magneto is also free. Has old repair on the head that looks to be well done and could be cleaned up so its not there. Has a broken rocker arm, I ha ve the broken piece, but it is pretty pitted up (I found it in the hopper) , I will include it , it might be able to be repaired and add some character. Comes with original rare magneto – took magneto off, it has magnetism and sparks – a huge plus. Has Original Fuel tank, looks to be in good shape – But I have NOT inspected it. On ORIGINAL WOOD skids (rotten part of skids cut off). Will need to be free’d up (piston) and some things like babbit bearings on the connecting rod, throttle rod, and other various work. For sale is a very nicely restored 1927 Fuller and Johnson hit and miss engine. 173161, 2 Hp, 600 rpm. Feel free to ask any questions you may have. Below is a brief summary of NC model Fuller Johnson hit and miss engines from the late 1920s. The F&J Company introduced the Model NC in 1927. There were two types of this engine–one with a new disk flywheel available in 1 1/2, 2, 2 1/2 and 3 HP sizes and the other type with a spoke flywheel in 2 and 3 1/2 HP sizes. The Model NC with a spoked flywheel was similar to the Model NB, with slightly greater horsepower. Most Model NC engines were equipped with Wico EK magnetos and sparkplugs; however, the engine could be ordered with a battery/buzz-coil/sparkplug electrical system. The F&J Company discontinued using rotary magneto and igniter systems in 1925, after adopting Wico EK magnetos and sparkplugs. All Model NC engines incorporated the governor weights in the flywheel.
