Valves, springs and rocker arm all look good. 2 9/16 center to center bolt holes. 1 pipe thread for exhaust. RARE nice original p art that came off a running engine. Here is a head for a 6hp IHC Famous hit and miss engine. It is a little rough around the edged but it may be better than nothing. It has a braze repair on the bottom and a very tight crack on the top. I’m sure the gasket surfaces and valve seats will need cleaned up. Check out the pictures and see if you need it. AS IS Part No. About 9-3/8 outside diameter measured at the gasket surface. The raised center area is about 5-3/4 in diamter. 5-1/4″ x 5-1/4″ Mounting pattern. Here is a nice original head that I think is for a Lauson engine. Please check the measurements to make sure it is what you need. The valve heads and seats look good but I would probably lap them before I put it on an engine.. The valves also feel good in their guides. For questions 419 789 1159. No cracks, breaks, or welds. The mounting hole pattern is 4-1/8″ x 4-1/8″ measured from closest hole to next closest hole on center. The carb mounts with 2 holes about 2-1/4 apart on center. About 6-7/8 in overall diameter. 15-1/2 lbs actual weight before box and packing materials. Most items will go out faster though. I have many good parts and pieces I will be listing in the next few months. I try to do a very good job of listing everything I sell in a very accurate manner to explain all the good and bad points with the pictures and in the description. Here is a very hard to find unbroken head for a 2-1/4hp Hercules or Economy. There are no cracks, breaks, or welds. The valves look and feel ok, they have a normal amount of wear and should work fine. The bottom rocker arm pivot hole is worn a little bit more than most. It should work fine as it is or a bushing could be installed to make it perfect. Check out the pictures and see if you need it. PLEASE CHECK THE MEASRUMENTS OF THIS ITEM TO MAKE SURE IT IS WHAT YOU NEED! Fits a 2-1/4hp size engines, sometimes the engine it fits may say 2-1/2hp on the tag. The mounting pattern is 3-7/16″ x 3-7/16″. The valves have normal wear, they should seal up just fine. The bottom rocker arm pivot hole is a little worn. Here is an original head 2hp IHC vertical Famous hit and miss engine. It has been repaired but the repair looks really good. I think it has been brazed but I didn’t take off the primer so I really don’t know for sure. The valves look in and feel good. They will probably need lapped in or possibly the valves and seats may need recut just a little bit. That would take about 10 minutes if you have a valve machine. Here is a head for a Waterloo Boy or similar engine. The valve appear to have been replaced and they fit very nicely. There is a old repair that appears to be an old gas weld where cast iron was melted back in. I think it looks good but it could also be cleaned up to look perfect I think. For your consideration is an original Head for a 5hp or 6hp Hercules or Economy Hit Miss Stationary Engine. The 5/8″ mounting holes are about 3-13/16″ apart from the next closest one on center. The raised center area is a little under 5 in diameter. The outer diameter of the gasket surface is about 8. It has a 2″ NPT exhaust, 1-1/4″ NPT carb mounting. The valves are pretty good in the guides, they may have been replaced in the last few years. Looks fine inside the water jacket area. There is a repair in the water jacket as can be seen in the pics. The engine this came off it was running before disassembly. It’s 30 lbs actual weight before box or packing material.
