I don’t see any breaks or repairs. Points move freely with no slop in shalt. Retard lever is missing tab that goes in the indents. Fits 2 1/2 – 12hp engines. Most of my item are old and I will try to do my best to give an accurate description.

Here is a very nice Hercules Electric Type M2 friction magneto. It is in great shape. I hooked it up to a 12 volt battery and it spun just as it should. Please check out the pictures and see if you need it. For questions 419 789 1159. SPECIAL NOTE: This is friction type generator. This mag is meant to be used with a coil. It is not meant to be able to start an engine but is meant to take the place of the batteries once the engine is running. It in itself will not produce a spark that will jump an air gap. Mounts with 2 holes about 4-3/4 apart on center. About 6-3/8 tall not counting the wood base. No bearing wear can be felt. Weighs about 12-1/2 lbs before any box or packing materials. I think I list items very accurately but my opinion on condition may differ from yours. In my opinion this is a great magneto. If you have any questions about how to use it on your engine please ask. Don’t be a clown and tear it all apart and then try to return it when you can’t get it to work. Thanks for looking at this listing! Hercules 5-6hp Hit Miss Stationary Engine Crank Guard

For your consideration is a Hercules Crank Guard for I believe a 5-6hp Hit Miss Engine. It is about 8 between the center to center of the slots for the mounting bolts. It’s about 15-1/2 from tip of top to tip of bottom flange. The guard part is about around 6-3/8 wide. The bolt slots are about 8 on center. You could use this on an Economy engine but you’d have to drill the engine back. It is heavy and made of cast iron. It’s in original patina.
