IHC International Hit Miss Gas Engine LB 1 1/2 – 2 1/2 HP IHC Magneto. Mag turns ok and has good spark. Comes with good gear, mounting bolts, plug wire with side plate bolt and clamp and top cap looks ok. From a parted out LB from an IHC collectors estate. No visible cracks welds or repairs. HOT IHC Type L Low Tension Magneto (not for use with a spark plug). Typically, the L Mag is used on the 1 1/2HP or 3HP IHC M Hit Miss engine but can be used on other engines. Bench tested – HOT with test light. I recharged the magnets. Pot metal body with original band. Base has 2 mounting holes that measure 2 apart-on-center – threads look good. Has the plate that goes behind the gear. Gear has 2 11/16 diameter. Gear has a 5/16″ diameter hole to mount on a 3/8″ diameter shaft. Gear has 30 teeth that are 1/2″ wide and 3/16″ apart. Gear has Part No. 9679T for 1 1/2HP IHC M Hit Miss engine. Please feel free to call me with questions. For your consideration is an International Harvester, IHC Mogul Fuel pump casting number 1415T. It doesn’t appear to have any cracks breaks or welds. It’s about 2 on center of the mount holes. It’s painted black. This is all I have of it. The pump body is about 8 top to bottom. Mounting bolts are 2 1/8 on centers. No play in movable shaft. Springs are very good. Points are like new. Should be ready to use. I think this is for 4 Hp engines. Most of my item are old and I will try to do my best to give an accurate description.
