Here is a #8 Lunkenheimer Oiler. It reads Lunkenheimer No. 8 Fig 1300 Sentinel Made In USA on top of the oiler. It has both top and bottom glass with no cracks that I see. The top glass measures 4″ wide and 5″ tall. Overall height is 9 1/2″, and it has 3/4″ connecting threads that are in good shape. It has no wrench marks and looks like it has new gaskets. This is an extremely hard to find original Lunkenheimer 1 inch Left Hand brass fuel mixer or carburetor for a hit and miss or early marine engine. It is in excellent condition with no cracks, breaks, or repairs of any kind. It is the higher end mixer with the air damper or choke plate in it. Everything works and moves as it should and it has very little wear anywhere on it. The 1 inch mounting threads are in great condition. It needs a ground union for the fuel line to hook up but these are available rather inexpensively from several of the hobby suppliers. These mixers are extremely tough to find in the wild or even at swap meets so if you need one for any reason here it is. The pictures tell the story. It will likely be a long time before another one turns up and it probably won’t be this nice! You’ll like it. Vintage brass Lunkenheimer steam valve with a Crosby Shipman Engine Company gauge. This was mounted on a nipple and board for Hit & Miss and other Shows. Has a patent date of Aug. Measures about 13 from the bottom of the valve to the top of the gauge. I don’t know anything about the pieces, and or it the parts are all there or not. They have not been tested! Very nice well marked “Lunkenheimer No 5 Paragon”. “Patented Jan 21, 1902″. Nice brass patina for antique oiler. Overall this is about 8 long. Just about 3 3/8 across at it’s widest point. The glass cylinder is about 3 tall. Minor chip in glass cylinder as well as a couple of minor pits. Sight glass is intact. Normal amount of corrosion, wear and tear. Oiler has vent tube and check valve. Check ball is intact (see pictures). Wooden stand is not included. Have not cleaned oiler and will probably need new gaskets. Will allow new owner to clean to their own specifications. No reserve, read particulars.
