Up for sale is very first Maytag fruit jar engine that I have ever seen or owned in my life. I don’t know nothing about this engine it does have a older restoration on it and looks to be with spray can paint. I was able to get it to run. I have been told there is a lot of reproduction engine’s around but I would have no clue on what to look for anyways. I found this one and of course I had to own it. Does have end play on the flywheel so I would say it would need new bearings but I didn’t hear it when it ran. Guys can contact me with questions and I will try my best to answer them the best I can. When we set up to go to the show we are always thinking of something that we can hook to our engines so it will be turning something and make it extra special to look at. Here is a Maytag engine or motor. This is in really good shape. I pushed down of foot pedal pushed easily. The flywheel turned nicely and It had compression. I never put gas to it or tried it out.
