This is a real nice reproduction cast iron crankguard or fender for a 2 1/2hp Simplicity hit and miss or throttle governed gas engine. It is in excellent condition with no cracks, breaks, or repairs of any kind as it is a brand new reproduction casting. It will need the three mounting holes drilled to fit your engine. It mounts on a shelf that is 7 1/8 inches wide overall and the guard is about 14 7/8 inches long overall. Please measure your engine to be sure it works for your application. These cast iron crankguards are rather tough to find in the wild or even at swap meets and they’re so often missing so if you need one here’s your chance! The pictures tell the story.
