Up for sale or offers here is a vintage Stover CT2 hit and miss engine. Serial number is TB-266910, which according to the lists I’ve found on the intraweb put this being built in 1940. Engine is a 2 – 2 and 1/2 HP engine at 600 RPM. No CBW’s that I can see or know of. Hot WICO EK magneto. Engine fires right up and runs true. Hate to sell this one, but its time to move on to another project. I have a friend who hauls loads west and south a lot and would be very reasonable. If my price is too high, shoot me an offer. Tag reads- CT2 550 2-2 1/2 TB2359801. It doesnt show up well in the picture. It has been laying in our shed for 15 years. Motor turns over and. We hear compression, but the ignition has no wire, and I didnt look in the black box to see what else may be missing. Linkage seems to be there, but needs freeing up.
