This is a 2HP Stover Hit & Miss engine that runs. Motor came off a vintage Rex Chain belt cement mixer. Comes with crank and cranks over easily. Engine is missing crank case cover and missing muffler. I installed a 1gal vintage Bolens fuel tank(pics show). Due to the age, motor will need some TLC. Comes with a parts & supply catalog. Have owned over 30yrs and fire it up twice a year in the fall to give the boys a yuck-yuck on Tues tipping night. I WILL NOT palletize engine on the cart for that it is too large. Has some wear from age, one bolt hole looks to be partially stripped out, but this magneto was mounted solidly with 3 studs, and you could probably JB weld and re-tap the last stud in. For your consideration is an original Stover CT Hopper Funnel for a Hit Miss Stationary Engine. This may fit a couple CT series engines but Im not sure. The part number is 43k2S. The edge dimensions of the raised portion that sets in the hopper is just under 4×6. The outer is 6-3/4×5. One of the original cast cross bars is included, I dont have the other one as it didnt come with it. Its in original patina. The engine will turn over and appears to have compression. No obvious cracks in the casting. There is a small dent in the side of the magneto housing. Rocker arm has an old weld/repair (see photos). There looks to be a bit of JB weld on the lid of the fuel mixer. This item may have rust or wear from age and use. I can strap to a pallet and load with fork lift onto a truck if necessary.
