This is an extremely nice original United Power Pump Company vertical shop type two cylinder air compressor. It was made in the 19teens and is in excellent used condition with no cracks, breaks, or repairs of any kind except for a broken foot on the base which should be a pretty straightforward repair as the piece is there. It is fresh from an old collection where it lived for many years. It stands about 4 feet tall but has a rather small footprint which was designed to be a compact unit for service garages. Everything turns over and seems to work as it should. It is very greasy and oily and seems to be in great shape. It has many moving parts and everything is exposed leaving nothing to imagination! It has the original brass serial tag on it. This is a fantastic display piece for your early hit and miss gas engine display or machinery collection Oddball air compressors especially ornate ones like this hardly ever turn up in the wild or even at swap meets anymore so if you’ve been looking for one don’t miss this one.
