This is a vertical engine, we have upgraded, added a mechanical water pump, cooling water tank, it can carry out water cooling cycle. Equipped with wooden base for easy placement and operation. Flywheel inner pulley can realize functions such as power generation or pump pumping. The outer pulley is easy to start by hand. You will love this exquisite horizontal gasoline engine model. The gasoline engine is elaborately made of all metal, and the surface is polished to make it very smooth. The engine is fixed on the wooden base, the structure is stable and reliable. Parameters: Engine size: 180 x 125 x 220mm. Power supply: 3.7v. Engine Startup Steps: 1. Open the bottom plate to check the wiring of the engine, connect the fuel tank pipe, and install the three AA batteries (not included) to close the bottom plate. Fill the fuel tank with gasoline (95#). When the filling is completed, make sure there is no air in the oil pipe. Turn on the power switch and turn the flywheel clockwise to start the engine clockwise on the right side of the engine. If the ignition device is normal and the cylinder is under normal compression, if the machine still does not start normally, it is very likely that the carburetor needle should be adjusted. Screw the screw on the top of the carburetor, then loosen 1/4 turn, start the flywheel, This can be done several times to make the mixing ratio of gasoline and air reach the normal working mix ratio. Check if the water tank lacks water. If there is air in thecooling pipe, the pump can’t work normally. Need to loosen the water pump outlet screw. Turn the engine to exhaust. When it is normal, the water is pumped out. When the machine stops, the power switch should be turned. Here is an old and real original vertical Maytag air cooled hit and miss gas engine. It is in decent original condition with some original paint as can be seen. The flywheel and hub is in good shape and not cracked or broken like many of them. It turns over nicely and has excellent compression. There are a few chipped cooling fins, repairs on two of the main bearing ears, and a broken mounting hole but these are all common for these engines. With a little elbow grease this would make a real nice show engine. I can deliver for free (or a cold beverage) to Baraboo,, WI, Portland, IN, or Coolspring, PA, later this year. Nice older restoration 3hp vertical, screen cooled IHC Famous hit and miss gas engine. It is on the original skids and cart with the handle. It was restored many years ago and shown. It turns over as it should with good compression and should run with minimal effort. It has the original pulley and correct muffler on it. The screen/tank have been remade but look good. Everything moves as it should and it has most of the original plumbing on it yet. There is a well done old repair on the water jacket an water pump bracket (as with most vertical IHC’s) and also on the water pump eccentric but it works just fine as is. The engine is missing the trip finger roller but this should be easy to find or make and I can point you in right direction for one. This should make a good show engine with minimal effort! I can deliver for free (or a cold beverage) to Portland, IN, Coolspring PA, or Baraboo, WI, later this year. It can stay here as long as needed as long as it’s paid for. This is an extremely nice original cam gear for a 3hp vertical International Harvester Famous or Titan hit and miss gas engine. It is part number G1010 and measures about 7 inches in diameter and is 3/4 inch thick with 40 teeth. It is complete with the cam and cam nut and goes on a 7/8 inch diameter cam shaft. It is for the thermo syphon tank cooled engines and not the screen cooled engines as there is no eccentric to drive the water pump. It might be able to be converted but I don’t know that so please do your homework if you plan to go that route. It is in excellent condition with no cracks, breaks, or repairs and the teeth have no noticeable wear. It is ready to go to work on an engine or on the shelf for a spare. These parts are tough to find in the wild or even at swap meets so don’t miss your chance on it. The pictures tell the story. You’ll like it. This is a real nice original cast iron pulley for an International Harvester 2hp vertical Famous or Titan hit and miss gas engine. It is in excellent condition with no cracks, breaks, or repairs of any kind. It has a 5 1/2 inch face and is 8 inches in diameter. It mounts to every other spoke of the flywheel with three holes 5 3/16 inches apart on center. It is part number G1064 and was standard equipment on the 2hp vertical engine but may fit other models or sizes as well. Please measure your engine to be sure it works for your application. It will fit on any engine with an adapter plate. It has some nice original black paint on it and would look great on an unrestored engine! These original cast iron pulleys are rather tough to find in the wild or even at swap meets and they really set an engine off! They also make it possible to run belt driven implements with your engine. If you’ve been looking for one to complete a restoration here’s your chance. This is a reproduction igniter for a IHC vertical gas engine. I know it will fit the 2hp and 3hp engine and will probably fit some of the rarer other size of IHC vertical engines. It appears to be in great unused condition. Mounts with 2 holes 3 apart on center. Reproduction part, I have no idea who made it. Most items will go out faster though. I have many good parts and pieces I will be listing in the next few months.
