WEBSTER JY 3 MAGNETO. Magneto is in good condition and ready to use. Webster type JY3 flip type. HOT – throws a nice blue spark. Bolt pattern 2 7/16″ X 2 13/16″. Threads all look good – no studs. Pot metal body that has been painted brass. No breaks, crack, or welds that I can see. I apologize for any inconvenience. Please feel free to call me with questions. Here is a Webster K magneto. It makes an excellent spark. The bearings have only very minimal or no wear. The original 1/4″ studs have been replaced with 5/16″ ones. That means it will not fit on a stock bracket unless it gets drilled out. There is some cracking in the case around 2 of the studs. All of the studs fit tight in their holes. Please take a look at the pictures and decide if you need it. For questions 419 789 1159. Model K, Serial No. Very tight bearings, only very minimal or no wear. The mounting pattern is about 2″ x 2″. All studs fit tight in their holes but they are bigger than they should be. Some cracking by 2 of the studs. Ready to use but it will not fit a stock bracket since the studs are 5/16″ instead of 1/4″. This is a low tension magneto meant to work with an igniter. It will not produce a spark that will jump an air gap no matter who tells you it will or how close you hold the wire to ground.. It makes a spark that can be seen when the igniter points open. Most items will go out faster though. I have many good parts and pieces I will be listing in the next few months. Here is a Webster L magneto. It makes an excellent spark. The bearings have a little bit of normal wear but that will not hurt a thing. The armature spins freely with the springs off, good magnetic pull can be felt when doing that. The rear bearing plate is a little chipped out in the oil hole area, that is a common thing and will not hurt the way it works. Please take a look at the pictures and decide if you need it.
