For your consideration is an original Webster Trip Finger Bracket #345K26 for an Economy but could be used on a Hercules or Jaeger 2-1/2 to 12hp Hit Miss Stationary Engine. The original shims are included to put the finger in the right spacing side to side. The stud for the finger is 1/2 diameter. The threads in the front lock bolt hole are okay, the rear has the lock bolt included. This fits a 3/4 square pushrod. The tab for the spring is fine with just a little wear on the bottom from the spring. It’s in original patina with some original red paint. Here is a Webster JY brass body magneto. This mag is often used on IHC and other larger engines. These are pretty difficult to find with a brass body. The armature drags just a tiny little bit but that shouldn’t hurt anything. Please take a look at the pictures and decide if you need it. For questions 419 789 1159. Model JY, Serial No. The mounting pattern is about 2-13/16″ x 2-7/16″. Should be ready to use. Has some very slight armature drag that shouldn’t hurt anything. Only a small amount of wear. This is a low tension magneto meant to work with an igniter. It will not produce a spark that will jump an air gap no matter who tells you it will or how close you hold the wire to ground.. It makes a spark that can be seen when the igniter points open. Most items will go out faster though. I have many good parts and pieces I will be listing in the next few months. I try to do a very good job of listing everything I sell in a very accurate manner to explain all the good and bad points with the pictures and in the description. So if someone doesn’t pay I will ban them from my listings and also tell all my friends who also sell engine parts on here who to watch out for. If you haven’t caught on this is supposed to be mildly funny but yet serious at the same time. If you decide you don’t want it or find another one cheaper you I won’t take it back. This is an original Webster K 2-bar magneto for a hit and miss or throttle governed gas engine. It should fit many engines but please measure your engine to be sure it will work for you. It seems to be in good shape but isn’t perfect. It is missing one cover screw and has a chip on one bearing cover and another on the leadout cover which really don’t affect its performance. It mounts on a 2 inch square hole pattern. The threads in 3 of the holes are in great shape. The threads in one hole are good at the bottom and may be usable but it could benefit from a helicoil type repair. The shaft moves as it should with very mild wear and the trip finger is in excellent shape as can be seen. I recharged the magnets and this magneto has a nice hot spark that is sure to run your engine if it is set up properly. It will work just the way it is or with just some minimal effort could be made perfect. The pictures tell the story. It would also make a great spare on the shelf. It mounts on a 2 inch square hole pattern and the threads in all of the holes are in great shape. The shaft moves as it should with very little noticeable wear and the trip finger is in excellent shape as can be seen. It has the original name band on it and retains some of the original gold paint on the body as can be seen. I recharged the magnets and this magneto has a nice hot spark that is sure to run your engine if it is set up properly. The pictures tell the story. It would also make a great spare on the shelf. Here is a Webster Type 2 magneto. It is very hot and in good shape. There is a very slight chip out of the mag case and one of the spring arms is just a little bent, neither of those slight flaws will effect how it works. No wear can be felt on the armature bearings. SPECIAL NOTE: This is a low tension magneto, it is meant to work with an igniter and will not produce at spark that will jump an air gap. It will not work with a spark plug. The mounting holes are 2-3/8 apart on center. No wear on the armature bearings. Weighs 9-1/2 lbs before any box or packing material. I think I list items very accurately but my opinion on condition may differ from yours. In my opinion this is a great magneto. If you have any questions about how to use it on your engine please ask. Here is a nice Webster K magneto. It is very hot and in great shape. The bearings are very tight, only a very minimal amount of wear. It spins freely with the springs off just as it should. Please take a look at the pictures and decide if you need it. If you have any questions 419 789 1159. SPECIAL NOTE: This is a low tension magneto, it is meant to work with an igniter and will not produce at spark that will jump an air gap. It will not work with a spark plug. The spark it produces can be observed by rubbing a wire from the terminal against the case of the mag while turning the shaft. It does have to be timed to the engine. 2″ x 2″ mounting pattern. All the studs are in great shape and are tight in their holes. Only a very minimal amount of wear. Spins freely with the springs off.
