Here is a nice Webster M magneto. It is very hot and in great shape. It is very tight, only a very minimal amount of wear. It spins freely with the springs off just as it should. There is one very tiny little crack by one of the mounting studs that is typical and shouldn’t hurt a thing, see pic with my pen pointing to it. SPECIAL NOTE: This is a low tension magneto, it is meant to work with an igniter and will not produce at spark that will jump an air gap. It will not work with a spark plug. The spark it produces can be observed by rubbing a wire from the terminal against the case of the mag while turning the shaft. It does have to be timed to the engine. 1-1/2″ x 2″ mounting pattern. All the studs are in great shape and are tight in their holes. One tiny tight crack by one mounting stud that will not hurt a thing. Only a very minimal amount of wear.
