Here is a nice Webster K magneto. It is very hot and in great shape. It is very tight, only a very minimal amount of wear. It spins freely with the springs off just as it should. Please take a look at the pictures and decide if you need it. If you have any questions 419 789 1159. SPECIAL NOTE: This is a low tension magneto, it is meant to work with an igniter and will not produce at spark that will jump an air gap. It will not work with a spark plug. The spark it produces can be observed by rubbing a wire from the terminal against the case of the mag while turning the shaft. It does have to be timed to the engine. 2″ x 2″ mounting pattern. All the studs are in great shape and are tight in their holes. Only a very minimal amount of wear. Spins freely with the springs off. I think I list items very accurately but my opinion on condition may differ from yours. In my opinion this is a great magneto. If you have any questions about how to use it on your engine please ask. Webster Type JZ 2 BRASS Podlesak. Magneto is in good condition and ready to use. Webster JZ Type 2. This is a large HEAVY Webster magneto. Four bolt mounting pattern 2 13/16 X 2 3/16. Throws a nice blue spark. Threads all look good. Nice original RARE part. No breaks, cracks, or welds. Came off a running engine. I apologize for any inconvenience. Very hard to find brass bodied Webster JY magneto as used on some of the IHC Famous/Titan engines and several others. Magneto is in excellent condition with no cracks, breaks, or repairs of any kind. It has very slight bearing wear and oscillates smoothly. I just recharged the magnets and installed a new leadout wire so it should be good for the next several decades! It has hot, snapping spark and very light wear on the trip finger. It mounts on a 2 7/16 x 2 13/16 hole pattern and the threads are in perfect shape. It has nice old patina or you could clean it if you’d like. It is ready to go to work on an engine or put on your shelf a spare. Here is a nice Webster K magneto. It is very hot. There is no wear to be felt. The mounting studs are missing and the threads have been stripped out. The mounting holes have some very tiny cracking. With a good cleaning and good epoxy studs will be able to put back in should be a permanent fix. Please take a look at the pictures and decide if you need it. SPECIAL NOTE: This is a low tension magneto, it is meant to work with an igniter and will not produce at spark that will jump an air gap. It will not work with a spark plug. The spark it produces can be observed by rubbing a wire from the terminal against the case of the mag while turning the shaft. It does have to be timed to the engine. 2″ x 2″ mounting pattern. Studs are missing and holes are stripped and slightly cracked. Spins freely with the springs off. I think I list items very accurately but my opinion on condition may differ from yours. In my opinion this is a great magneto. If you have any questions about how to use it on your engine please ask. Here is a nice Webster K magneto. It is very hot. It is a die cast body mag with brass bearing plates. The one bearing plate has a flaw by an oil hole but that will not hurt the operation of the mag in any way (see pic where my pen is pointing). There is a little wear but nothing that will hurt anything. Please take a look at the pictures and decide if you need it. If you have questions 419 789 1159.
