This is a pretty nice original Wico EK magneto for a spark plug fired hit and miss or throttle governed gas engine. These magnetos were used on many gas engines of the day. There are no cracks, breaks, or repairs that I can see or know of. Everything seems to be in great shape for its age. I checked it just before I took the pictures and it puts out a good, hot spark that should run your engine if it is set up properly. The threads in the mounting holes are in great shape. It is serial number 105638 and has the original serial tag on the top. These Wico EK magnetos are getting tougher to find every day so if you’ve been looking for one don’t miss your chance on this one. It would also make a great spare on the shelf. Here is a WICO EK magnto that fits many old gas engines. Please take a look at the pictures and see if you need it. Has new name tag that has not been stamped with a serial number. All Brass Case which is probably new. Newer lead out tower. Armature has a small amount of wear. I try to list items very accurately but my opinions on condition may differ from yours. This item in a complex antique electronic mechanical unit. Please don’t act like a cave man and send me emails grunting “my friend mag guy says need rebuilt you pay he bill” or “I took apart now no fire I send back”. Most items will go out faster though. I have many good parts and pieces I will be listing in the next few months. I try to do a very good job of listing everything I sell in a very accurate manner to explain all the good and bad points with the pictures and in the description. So if someone doesn’t pay I will ban them from my listings and also tell all my friends who also sell engine parts on here who to watch out for.
