We want to start off by saying. Beware of copycat listings of our coil. Thank You for your business! Here is Feedback that one of our customers left for us. PS This coil has more than enough power to run my 6hp Galloway hit-and-miss engine. Here is a message another customer sent us. Just had to tell you many thanks on the low tension coil. Made this horse and a half purr again. Made my neighbor extremely happy. This is a new Low-Tension coil that can be used on your hit and Miss Gas Engine with a normally open Ignitor. This is not for an engine with a “SPARKPLUG” or a “NORMALLY CLOSED IGNITOR”. Check your application before purchasing. This coil can also be used by a student for a Science Fair Project to demonstrate how electricity & magnetism work hand in hand and can’t work without the other. As any electrical device, this coil can produce a shock that can result in a reflex that may cause a person mild injury due to his/her reflex movement. We use Brass and Stainless hardware to hold the coil together. These materials are used because they are non-magnetic, so they won’t distort the magnetic field that is built up around the iron core, in turn giving a better uniform field that will collapse only around the windings when your ignitor points open. It has a 4-1/2″ Long by 2-1/2″ Wide footprint. The shorter the coil is better than long coils due to the fact the magnetic field is denser when the coil is energized. This will give you a more powerful induced spark. This coil is wound with constant tension on the 100% copper wire. Wood frame is made of solid Oak, connection terminals are Brass. The brass nuts are used to hold the terminals tight, and the nuts are countersunk to keep them out of sight, giving the coil a better appearance. Plus, our coils have the terminals on the top, making them more easily accessible. The iron core was sprayed with an insulative material and allowed to dry before the first layer of wire was put on. This keeps the iron core from rusting. If allowed to rust, it will decrease the efficiency of any coil. Each layer of wire after that has a high temperature rated insulative material between them. All of our coils are tested before the outer cover and base are installed. With the wood base, it can easily be mounted onto a skid or a cart with or without a bracket.

Igniter for 2HP – 6HP IHC VERTICAL FAMOUS Hit Miss Engine. Mounts 3 center to center. The moveable electrode is loose. Pawl is good just needs a top spring. Nice original cast iron. Here is a very nice small pump that can be used for a variety of old gas engines and other purposes. It would look really good mounting on a small tank cooled engine for moving cooling water. It seems to be in great shape and turns over fine. It should be ready to use but I haven’t tried it. There are no cracks, breaks, or welds. Check out the pictures and see if you need it. For your consideration is an International Harvester, IHC, McCormick Deering 6hp model M Fuel pump casting number 9845. It doesn’t appear to have any cracks or breaks, it’s possible it has an old repair by where it mounts, but it could also just be the way the casting is in that area as what appears could be a repair on the front doesn’t show any signs of being repaired on the back. It’s about 2-1-4 on center for the mount holes. It’s in original patina with some weathering. The cast iron tabbed, brass plunger is included with, it’ll need packing and check balls/valve in order to function. Here is a trip finger for an Wico R1 magneto. It seems to be in great shape. There is an addition at the bottom to make it longer. It is not welded to the original trip finger, the weld is only holding on the washers in-between, it will easily come apart. Please take a look at the pictures and decide if you need it.
