Up for your consideration is this original and vintage Fairbanks-Morse 12 H. Tag being massive in size and in weight, weighing a colossal 4 Lbs. 1 ounce and measuring a whopping 18 1/2″ long and 4 1/2″ wide, being 1/4 thick. This particular tag was used on a engine that was used at a Colorado Sampling Mill, Silver Mine back in the 1890′s. The gentleman was liquidating his Colorado collection a while back. The size of this tag very seldom comes on line. This tag has its normal wear for its age and is in very good condition. I was thinking twice about letting this one go, well my loss your gain. The engine has nicely cast & machined iron castings. There is no makers name on the engine. The engine looks complete & runs nice on air. The base is original & is old painted wood to look like bricks. The engine stands about 6 tall to the top of the flywheel. The base measures 12 x 5-1/2. The engine weighs 6 lbs. In a 20 x 12 x 12 box. No history came with the engine; its just been sitting on a shelf for the last 50 years.
