Mounts to engine with two holes 1 3/4 apart on center – SHOWS WELDING REPAIR AROUND THE MOUNTING HOLES appears to be a solid repair. Mag mounting is 1 1/2″ x 2″ 4 bolt pattern for “M” magneto. This is a rather hard to find original Webster magneto ignitor bracket for a small Hercules or Economy hit and miss gas engine. It should fit the 1 1/2hp engines but please measure your engine to be sure it will work for you. It is bracket number 303M1 and seems to be in great shape with no cracks, breaks, or repairs of any kind that I can see or know of. It mounts with two holes 1 3/4 inches apart on center and the magneto mounts on a 1 1/2 x 2 inch square hole pattern. The movable electrode moves nicely with very little wear and the point is in great shape. It needs a stationary electrode, tension spring and an advance/retard lever tab to make it complete. These are available from several of the hobby suppliers quite inexpensively. If you need a Hercules/Economy ignitor bracket for any reason here is a pretty nice one. The pictures tell the story. For your consideration is an original Webster Magneto Bracket 303M1 for Hercules & Econonomy Engines. This fits the 1-1/2hp engines. The timing lever moves and appears to be repaired on the roller shaft. Its repaired on the angle where the mag mounts on as can be seen in the pics. The moveable electrode still moves and is spring loaded but could use a new spring. The points will need touched up. For your consideration is an original Webster Magneto Bracket 303M1 for Hercules & Econonomy Engines. The arm of the movable shaft pivots as it should, timing lever is tight but moves. It does not appear to have any cracks breaks or welds. The bolt pattern is 1-3/4 on center. It came off of a 1-1/2hp E Hercules. The finger roller pivots but has a wear spot in it from it not pivoting in the past.
