This is a rather hard to find original American Bosch AB33 flick or trip type magneto for a Fairbanks Morse Z gas engine. It is as found from the inventory of the estate of an early engine collector. It seems to be in great shape with no cracks, breaks, or repairs that I can see or know of. It has the short trip arm on it. It has the original points cover with all of the patent dates on it which is often missing. It is not stuck but it is pretty stiff. It would greatly benefit from a disassembly and cleaning! The two mounting holes have excellent threads in them and the two original brass locating pins are still in the other two. These AB33 magnetos are really tough to find in the wild or even at swap meets so if you need one for a restoration here one is. It’s one of the nicest ones I’ve had in 20 years.
